Fitting it
Will it fit my shower?
It fits any standard shower arm, which is what almost every UK shower uses. If your head screws off by hand or with a light turn, this screws on in its place.
Do I need tools or a plumber?
No. It hand-tightens onto the arm you already have. Nothing is drilled, nothing is cut, and nothing existing is thrown away — you can put your old head back on at any time.
How long does it take?
About a minute. Take the old head off, screw this one on, run the water.
Will it work with an electric or mixer shower?
If the head unscrews from a standard arm, yes. Some electric showers have the head fixed to the unit on a fitted hose instead — if you are not sure what you have, send us a photo through the contact page and we will tell you before you order.
How it works
What does it actually filter?
Two media work in sequence: KDF-55 and calcium sulfite. Together they reduce chlorine, sediment and dissolved metals in mains water before it reaches your skin and hair.
Will it drop my water pressure?
No. The filtration sits in the flow path without restricting it, so the pressure you have now is the pressure you keep.
Does it soften hard water?
It is a shower filter, not a water softener. It reduces chlorine, sediment and metals, which is what most people are reacting to in the shower. It does not remove the calcium and magnesium that make water technically hard, and it will not stop limescale forming elsewhere in your home.
Is it drinking water?
No. It is made for showering and is not intended or tested as a drinking water filter.
The cartridge
How long does one last?
Around 90 days of daily showering. Heavier use in a busy household will shorten that, lighter use will stretch it.
How do I change it?
It twists out and the new one twists in. It takes seconds and needs no tools.
How do I know when it is spent?
The media discolours as it works. When the cartridge is visibly loaded, it has done its job and is ready to be replaced.

What does delivery cost?

Do you ship outside the UK?
Not yet. We currently ship to United Kingdom addresses only.
What if I do not get on with it?
You have sixty nights. Fit it, use it, and if your water does not feel softer we refund the head in full — used is fine. The head also carries a two-year guarantee.
