About

Mains water is treated for pipes. Not for skin.

The water that arrives at a British home has been made safe to travel. It is treated to survive miles of pipework and to reach the tap without carrying anything harmful. That is a good thing, and it is not the same thing as being pleasant to stand under for ten minutes every morning.

Chlorine does not stop working when it reaches your bathroom. Sediment and dissolved metals come along with it. For a lot of people that shows up as skin that feels tight afterwards, hair that will not behave, and a shower that never quite feels like the reset it should be.

Stonewater exists for that ten minutes. One showerhead, two filtration media, and a fitting that takes about a minute — so the water you actually stand in is softer than the water that was sent to you.

How we go about it.

One product

We make one thing.

A single filtered showerhead, in one finish. No range to compare, no better version held back for next season. The work goes into the one you can buy.

No trades

Fitted by hand.

It hand-tightens onto the shower arm you already have. If a product needs a plumber, a drill or an afternoon, most people never get round to it — so this needs none of them.

Quiet

Then forgotten about.

Change the cartridge roughly every ninety days and that is the whole relationship. Good things in a bathroom should ask almost nothing of you.

Water, filtered.

Free UK delivery, sixty nights to decide, two-year guarantee.
